It’s a new chapter in the tradeshow realm for Berlin’s Premium Group. Following the arrival of a new majority shareholder, British event giant Clarion Events, the founders of Bright announced their departure.

Thomas Martini and Marco Aslim launched in 2005 the event dedicated to skate brands in Frankfurt. Starting from 50 labels and 500 visitors at the first edition, they created a Berlin event capable of bringing together some 250 skateboarding brands, as well as streetwear, and international buyers.

Following the purchase of Bright by Premium Group in 2015, the tradeshow merged with its counterpart Seek, but the founders remained in command. Today, with their departure at the end of February, it is "a new step in the integration of Bright into the organization Premium Group, led by Anita Tillmann and Jörg Arntz," explained Premium Group in a press release.

Management also explained that the change will equally be accompanied by a new conceptual direction for the event and that, "in the future, the Seek and Bright teams will work even harder together to create concepts and formats that respect Bright's values."

Premium Group includes Premium, Show & Order, Seek, Bright and FashionTech Berlin. The next edition will be held July 3rd to the 5th. The group will also lead Premium Order Munich in August.
