Pop artist Nelson De La Nuez has collaborated with Corum Watches to release a debut collection of limited-edition men's and women's Bubble watches that will become available for Fall 2018.

The four-style collection features sizes for men and women. Each watch is a limited-edition run of 88 and is expected to sell through quickly. Designs are pulled from De La Nuez's full-size original pieces of artwork and include a "Club Diablo" face and a "Martini Hour" piece.

Jérôme Biard, CEO of Corum, said, "Nelson De La Nuez is one of those artists who doesn't follow trends, who creates his own universe by gathering inspiration from his surroundings and always manages to be innovative."

De La Nuez is a frequent collaborator with fashion industry brands. His design collaborations span fashion, travel and home decor and have sold out at Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Ave, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor and Bloomingdale's.

Biard explained the motivation for the collaboration saying, "we share the same audience...one that is sophisticated and cultured, yet wants to stand out and show who they are, whether it's through their art or their fashion/watches."

The watches are meant to be versatile and worn both every day and on the red carpet. Each is engraved with the artist's name and edition number.

42mm, 47mm and 52mm watch faces will be in the launch collection which will be celebrated by a VIP party to be held in the US. Women's styles will debut first in March at Baselworld in Switzerland.

Additional styles will launch in September 2018 and a second collection is already in the works between De La Nuez and Corum. The watches will be sold globally.
