Momentum by Timo Weiland is a step forward for the design-led guest experience. Meetings with Crowne Plaza team members inspired Weiland and his design partners, Alan Eckstein and Donna Kang, to design the collection, as well as their own travels. The brand unveiled the uniform sketches during New York Fashion Week.

Weiland said, “The Timo Weiland designed Crowne Plaza brand uniforms for men and women embody a signature classic prep style with a modern, tech twist. The designs are elegant and handsome with ease-of-movement in the tailoring and refined details. The color palette, textures, and silhouettes set the tone aligning with the design–led philosophy exemplified by the interiors of Crowne Plaza properties.”

InterContinental Hotels Group named Weiland the Style Director for the Crowne Plaza Brand in the Americas in September 2016. Prior to taking on the design role, Weiland opened his first store at the CFDA Retail Lab that carried a curated a collection of eyewear by Zenni Optical. He also partnered with Jaboneria Marinella on a limited edition luxury soap collection, and he designed a studio exhibition at Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel.

Timo Weiland typically shows at New York Fashion Week every season, but the fashion label is skipping the week this season.
