Split over two levels, the first-ever Hugo store is set to open in France in July. The apparel brand, part of the Hugo Boss group, will open in Paris and retail at 118 rue Vieille-du-Temple, across 210-square-metres. The store officially opens on July 19 -- just two weeks after Hugo's fashion show in Berlin -- where it will present its spring/summer 2019 collection, under the creative direction of Bart de Backer and Jenny Swank-Krasteva, who design the men's and womenswear, respectively.

Until now, Hugo collections were sold via two shop-in-shops in Reims and Perpignan, as well as via selected sales counters in France, in addition to other sales points that sold the Boss line.

The new debut store, which takes the former retail space of French brand Zadig & Voltaire, is part of Hugo Boss group's promotion on its two strong brands: Boss with its suits, and Hugo, the group's younger line.

A series of other Hugo openings are slated for 2018. The brand saw revenues grow 4%, to 397 million euros, in 2017, compared to the year prior.
