Luxury conglomerates LVMH and Kering have launched a new website to provide fashion models with vital information about how to look after their well-being, both physical and mental.

The site, WeCareForModels.com, follows on from a Charter published last September by the two fashion and lifestyle giants, pertaining to the working conditions and well-being of models employed by the companies' fashion houses for runway shows and photo shoots. Between them, the two companies own some of the fashion and beauty industry's biggest brands, including Fendi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Kenzo and Saint Laurent.

The website features guidelines for working conditions, in addition to expert advice about maintaining a healthy body and state of mind, including tips for maintaining energy levels, eating a varied and balanced diet and managing stress. It also features statements from top fashion players, such as designers Maria Grazia Chiuri, Stella McCartney and Gucci President and CEO Marco Bizzarri.

According to the LVMH website, "The goal is to inspire real change in the fashion industry by eliminating behaviors and practices that are not compatible with the values of the two groups, and at the same time raise awareness among models that they have an active role to play in this process."
