Italian menswear label Lardini has landed in China, opening its first monobrand store in Xi'an.  Last April, the brand launched its Asia expansion plan in motion by opening a first store in Seoul, followed by one in Busan, South Korea, in partnership with Shinsegae International.

The 140 sq m Xi'an store is located inside the new Zhongda International shopping mall and features the label's complete menswear range, showcased within burnished metal and fluted glass display cabinets.  There is also a distinctive herringbone-patterned parquet floor.

Lardini was founded in 1978 in Filottrano, central Italy. The company exports over 60% of its revenue, which has grown significantly in the last few years: from €37 million in 2009, to €71 million in 2014, to €73 million in 2015.

The label recently signed a licence agreement with Trussardi for the production and worldwide distribution of the latter's new formal menswear line Trussardi Elegance, starting with the autumn/winter 2017/18 collection.
