Proenza Schouler is expanding its range and strengthening its resort pre-collection with its first line of swimwear. In October, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s New York brand will launch in stores a collection of twenty styles, primarily made up of one and two-pieces, as well as pareos.

The collection has been designed in-house, but the brand will rely on the American beachwear company Swimwear Anywhere, which already has similar licensing partnerships with DKNY, Juicy Couture, Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors.

Proenza Schouler, founded in 2002, has gone in two different directions for its first resort collection: the first inspired by surfing and skateboarding culture, with strong and vibrant color, the second taking the lead more from past runway collections with dominant black, white and pastel colors.
