Dutch umbrella label Senz, known for inventing the storm-proof umbrella, is launching its first-ever bag collection. The collection will include a variety of models, colors and, in the spirit of the brand, waterproof designs, which are able to store umbrellas.

The Senz bag collection focuses on women who spend a lot of time on the go. Therefore, the bags feature functional and waterproof storage spaces for keys, laptops, tablets and folders. The Lou model, for example, is a Tote bag, which features a separate 13-inch laptop compartment, while the Sam backpack can store a 15-inch laptop. The Liv, the smallest of the collection, fits a tablet. And the Fern is able to carry small items such as keys and a phone.

In addition to the bag collection, Senz also introduces the smart light, an energy-saving light, especially designed to help find small items in bags. The Senz bag collection will be available in red, black, camel and silver and features leather handles and details.

Senz was founded in 2006 by three Industrial Design students from the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). In recent years, the brand has won numerous design awards, including: Dutch Design Award, Design Management Europe Award (UK) and IDEA Gold (USA). Senz is based in Delft and is available in more than 50 countries across Europe, Asia, North and South America.
