Designer: Thom BrowneInspiration: American scouting and camping revealing a variation of practical clothing with multiple pockets, with cargo trousers and bellow jackets.Colours: a tone on tone palette with untreated, khaki green and checked fabrics.Focus on: technical materials, + transparent waterproofs +long and protective puffer jackets.For the finale the hikers huddle in their tent for a well-deserved rest!Décor:Nature, with pine trees and tents planted on the grass.Accessory: Rangers style shoes and canvas boots in the fabrics and colours of the collection.Interview from Thom Browne:This collection was American Boyscouts so it started from there and really playing with the idea of utility of clothing which Moncler is known for and the mix of classic tailoring which is what I’m known for.I wanted it to be a camping story so I wanted to feel like they were out camping; you know the forest green, the brown and the kaki just felt perfect for camping. To take the pocket, the bellow pocket idea, and almost bring it to a ridiculous level and I think it was just an amazing detail that crossed over into the accessories and into the entire collection.There is so much work that goes into the collection, each piece is really special. Moncler is known for making clothing very beautifully so it’s important that they see the collection in a very special way.Music of the show, do not reuse for more than 7 days after the show
