Bobbi Brown chooses Paris for a new boutique

Published

Bobbi Brown has points of sale criss-crossing the USA, Europe and even Asia, but until now not a single one dedicated to its products alone. The brand will soon be opening a new boutique though in Paris.

In the heart of the Marais district, at the corner of the Rue des Francs-bourgeois and the Rue de Turenne, the “studio” as it is called within the company, is expected to open during the next three months. There will be a “workshop” table at the heart of the boutique, where the latest releases will be exhibited and available to be tested.

A wall presenting all their products as well as a wall of “inspirations”, where a mish-mash of press publications and extracts of books on Bobbi Brown will be attached, will both form part of the store’s decoration. Lastly, a space entirely dedicated to make-up workshops is expected, modeled on those currently present in department stores where the brand is distributed.

The star of “nude” make-up, Bobbi Brown worked in the world of catwalks before founding it’s own label at the beginning of the 1990’s. It was in 1991 that the brand revolutionized the make-up world with a line of pink-brown lipstick; a success that riled even Estée Lauder.

In 1995 the American group repurchased the brand and has participated in its development since. Today, Bobbi Brown is distributed in more than four hundred points of sale and has extended its activities to perfumes, body care and accessories – all of which will be found in the new boutique in Paris.
