French luxury house Chloé has announced the launch of a "Girls Forward" capsule to raise funds for UNICEF programs to promote gender equality.

All of the proceeds from sales of the collection, which includes two T-shirts, a necklace and a bracelet, will be used to finance business and skills training for young women around the world.

With the stated goal of bringing computer literacy, technical and entrepreneurial skills and, by extension, confidence and freedom to millions of adolescent girls and young women around the world, Chloé and UNICEF have joined forces to create the international "Girls Forward" partnership, promoted by actresses Lucy Boynton and Katie Holmes.

The two actresses have joined the project team with the aim of raising awareness for the global campaign, which will also be funded by a fashion collection, which is set to launch on International Women's Day on March 8. The capsule includes a T-shirt, available in two colors, a bracelet and a necklace, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF gender equality programs.

Made from organic cotton jersey, the T-shirt features a print of joined hands to evoke a spirit of unity and the slogan "Girls Forward". All four of the capsule pieces will be available from Chloé stores in France, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States, and also online from Chloe.com. The T-shirt retails for US$405, the necklace is US$365 euros, and the bracelet for US$195.

With this global campaign, Chloe and UNICEF aim to support as many as 6.5 million adolescent girls and young women in countries across the world, including Bolivia, Jordan, Morocco, Senegal, and Tajikistan.
