Jan 24 - Online retail sales in France jumped 24 percent last year to 31 billion euros ($43.31 billion), the French e-Commerce Federation (Fevad) said on Monday.

This reflected brighter trading conditions in the global retail sector and record Christmas sales of over 6 billion euros achieved in spite of harsh winter weather that disrupted orders in the run-up to the festive period.

French online shoppers spent an average of 91 euros last year, returning to pre-crisis levels, the survey showed.

The number of French people shopping online rose 12 percent during the year to 27.3 million.

Tourism, consumer goods, and B2B were among the fastest growing sectors, showing double-digit percentage increases.
