H Magazine is available this week at newsagents throughout the Middle East, and in Paris, London, Milan, New York and Los Angeles. The new quarterly magazine dedicated to men's fashion was founded by the former editor-in-chief of L'Officiel Homme Middle East, Hassan Al-Saleh.

H Magazine claims to be "the first men's fashion magazine created in the Middle East and published worldwide." The majority of menswear titles in the Middle East consists in fact of local editions of foreign publications. H Magazine promises to be the voice of a new generation of free thinkers and creative spirits from the Arab world and elsewhere.

For its first, 344-pages issue, entitled 'New Beginnings', Hassan Al-Saleh has called upon star Australian model Jarrod Scott, photographed by An Le (of Vogue and The Sunday Times fame). The magazine presents several fashion shoots and a special feature on beauty, 'Master and Commander', with a posse of top models consisting of Alessio Pozzi, Trevor Signorino and Kacey Carrig.

The magazine's arts and culture section features interviews with Riccardo Tisci (Givenchy), Jason Basmajian (Cerruti), Nicola Formichetti (Diesel), Alessandro Michele (Gucci) and Tomas Maier (Bottega Veneta). Articles on fragrances, watches and hats are also included in this first issue.

H Magazine, priced at $18, has a circulation of 25,000 copies, and is available in Arabic and English. Extracts of the first issue can be viewed on the www.h-magazine.com website.
