James Corden has an unlikely new skincare project in the pipeline.

The British TV host has teamed up with the actress Chloe Grace Moretz to front a new web series for the prestige Japanese skincare brand SK-II.

The series, which will air on YouTube on March 21, followed by new weekly episodes, has been dubbed ‘Bare Skin Chat'. It will see Corden pick Moretz's brains for her deepest beauty secrets -- with a few detours along the way for tap dancing, facial bubble baths and even recording ASMR content. After Corden tests out SK-II's signature "Pitera Essence" for the first time in his life, his transformation into beauty influencer is complete.

The actresses Naomi Watanabe and Kasumi Arimura are among the additional guests that will feature in the series.

"It was only a matter of time before I partnered with a skincare range," said Corden of his surprising new career move. "I'm now lathering my face in SK-II morning, noon and night!"

"I laughed so much on the Bare Skin Chat set and I feel the audience is going to have a ball with this," added Moretz. "Sometimes you want to take skincare less seriously, it shouldn't be so complicated you know."

While the move signals Corden's first major beauty contract, Moretz has been working with SK-II for some time, having starred in the brand's ‘Bare Skin Project' campaign back in June 2018.
