Levi Strauss has entrusted its marketing in Southern Europe, comprising Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal, to Mathilde Vaucheret. The executive is familiar with the business and region as she has been in charge of public relations for the group, which includes Levis and Dockers, in the area since 2015.

Vaucheret previously spent five years working at Philips where she worked her way up at the heart of the business’ communications and public relations department to become a manager. Vaucheret also worked at beauty brand Clarins before returning to fashion, notably to create partnerships between brands and designers.

After working as Levi Strauss’ interim marketing director for Southern Europe, Vaucheret’s official appointment to the position was confirmed today. Vaucheret has taken over from Servane De Pompignan in her new role.

Vaucheret now reports to Diana Dimitian, the business’ vice-president for Southern Europe, and Anit Van Eynde, vice president of marketing for Europe.
