Lil' Amsterdam opens at the city's Central Station

Amsterdam’s Centraal Station (Central Station) is welcoming a new shopping and entertainment destination. On 7 September, pop-up mall Lil’ Amsterdam landed at the city’s largest railway station.

The concept features cultural experiences, pop-up retail spaces, as well as a food and drink establishment, Lil’ Club. Designed as an homage to its hometown, Lil’ Amsterdam will collaborate with local companies, artists, attractions and designers. Current available fashion brands are Daily Paper, Mokum Collective, Jules ten Velde, Sarah Bruylant and concept store X Bank, to name a few.

Additionally, visitors can buy Moco museum (Modern Contemporary Museum Amsterdam) tickets and merchandise at the museums Lil’ Amsterdam space, watch a painter at work or opt for a beauty treatment offered by Treatwell.

The pop-up mall is located at Amstel Passage, on the eastside of the railway station. The project is a concept of Pup creative agency and established in collaboration with NS (Dutch Railways). For now, Lil’ Amsterdam is to remain open for one year, but this may change in the near future.
