It said the new Australian subsidiary “plays a key role for the growth in the APAC region, with the aim of strengthening the commercial synergies with the current regional office in Hong Kong”.

The company makes eyewear for Tom Ford, Adidas, Victoria’s Secret, Guess, and Skechers, among others.

It added that it wanted to “have a direct presence in the market acting as a commercial hub for the entire network of independents and local chains taking care of the distribution of the brand portfolio”.

The new HQ in the Northpoint Tower in North Sydney also houses a newly designed showroom, sales offices, and a new team dedicated to the local market.

It means the company now has 13 worldwide branches across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia with four joint ventures running in China, Mexico, Russia, and the UAE. It also has over 150 international partner distributors.
