MissPap launches £25k of free marketing contest for female-led brands

Women’s fashion brand MissPap is offering £25,000 worth of free marketing in a competition aimed at supporting a women-led small business.

Launched 8 March on MissPap’s social channels as part of International Women’s Day, the ‘Boost Your Business’ competition furthers brand CEO Samantha Helligsø’s long-term strategy “to support and nurture talent, particularly those who have been affected by the global pandemic”.

Helligsø added: “Our mission is to draw a spotlight on these inspiring women by giving them support and a platform to share their brand to help boost their business while inspiring others.”

Boohoo Group-owned MissPap added that it aims to give female entrepreneurs the confidence to “drive their ideas forward”.

The initiative will allow a female-run small businesses to apply for the prize support package which will include free marketing and brand exposure on MissPap’s social and online channels.

It will also give the winning business the chance to shadow key marketing departments, use in-house photography/studio facilities and be exclusively stocked on the brand’s website.

Participants entering will be asked to draft or expand on an existing business plan and include how this opportunity will boost their business.

The winner will be selected by a panel of MissPap judges in April.
