Seven years after launching its men's fragrance 1 Million, the luxury brand is releasing a new olfactory interpretation of its trademark scent, fresher and more energetic, to go with the summer season. A new product to discover as of May 11.

After 1 Million in 2008 and 1 Million Intense in 2013, Paco Rabanne is releasing a new version of its iconic perfume, this time playing on contrasts.

Created by noses Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard, the fragrance is based on an original mix of opposites. Opening with marine notes married to a citrus cocktail of mandarin and cardamom, it mixes floral notes of rose with juniper berries in the heart while the base consists of leather and tonka bean.

The bottle retains its gold bar shape but is transparent this time, expressing the lighter character of the fragrance and letting the essence of 1 Million Cologne be visible.

Paco Rabanne chose American model Sean O'Pry as the face of this new version in a campaign shot by Gregory Harris.

1 Million Cologne will be available for purchase starting May 11 in 75ml and 125ml eau de toilette versions, for around $60 and $80 respectively.
