Peter Luff joins KPMG/Ipsos Retail Think Tank
The KPMG/Ipsos Retail Think Tank (RTT) has appointed Ipsos Retail Performance managing director Peter Luff as its newest member.
Luff has worked at Ipsos Retail Performance for more than a decade to provide the world’s leading retailers with insight into the behavioural patterns of their shoppers, as well as footfall and shopper tracking solutions.
A frequent media contributor and conference speaker, he regularly presents and discusses behavioural shopping trends in retail.
Commenting on his appointment, Luff said: “Ipsos has been a long-standing partner of the RTT, and I look forward to contributing to the valuable insight and commentary it provides the UK retail sector.
“As well as further highlighting many longer-term struggles of the industry, the last two years have added new challenges for retailers and they are currently battling global supply chain and labour issues alongside many other sectors.
“However, I believe there is still cause for optimism. We have seen great innovation from retailers and there is an opportunity for them to remodel their businesses to be more competitive in the coming years, so it is a vitally important time for the RTT to continue to offer its renowned industry insight.”
