In this new French-language episode of the LuxurynsightXFashionNetwork podcast series, guest Sandrine Zerbib analyses the evolution of the Chinese market since the 1990s, from the country’s major digital transformation and e-commerce boom to China becoming a key player in the luxury market, with local consumers driving the luxury giants’ business in recent years.

Luxurynsight X FashionNetwork · Ep 57: Sandrine Zerbib talks to Olivier Guyot about “The Evolution of the Chinese Market” FR

Talking to Olivier Guyot, editor-in-chief France of FashionNetwork.com, Zerbib, the founder and president of Full Jet, a consulting agency advising fashion labels keen to establish themselves in China, focuses on the growth drivers and challenges of a country still partially hampered by its zero-Covid policy

Ever since China opened up its economy to international competition, a reform spearheaded by Deng Xiaoping in 1978, the country has grown by leaps and bounds to become the world's largest exporter of goods. Zerbib has in-depth knowledge of China and its industrial system, having been in charge of Adidas’s local subsidiary for 13 years, and has co-authored the book “Dragon Tactics”, a guide to Chinese-style management published in August 2022 in France by Dunod editions.
