Quiz launches petite range

Quiz has launched a petite selection of clothing designed for smaller women for which a strong market exists.

With prices ranging from £6.99 to £17.99, Quiz Petite features 60 pieces across occasionwear, casual wear and holiday items including dresses, jumpsuits, denim, trousers, shorts, tops and co-ords.

Like the brand’s main collection, the pieces are inspired by key trends for the season such as polka dots, ruffle skirts, pastel colours and floral prints. Sizes range from 4-16.

The omnichannel fashion brand, which is best known for its occasionwear and dressy casual looks, has also recently added a new site to its 70-strong store estate. Located in The Liberty shopping centre in Romford, the 3,849 sq ft space occupies two floors.

The brand also has about 168 concessions in the UK and Ireland, including more than a hundred in Debenhams stores. This link sent Quiz’s shares down in recent months following news of Debenhams’ restructuring, as those concessions generated 23% of its total turnover last year. But in its latest trading update, the fashion retailer revealed at 12% increase in group revenue to £130.9 million, and plans to continue trading with the department store chain.

The fashion company’s final results for the year will be released on 11 June.
