ShopTalk Europe to be headlined by CEOs of Hudson’s Bay, Matchesfashion, Westfield
The new large-scale event will focus on the transformational trends, technologies and business models reshaping the retail and e-commerce market, and explore how consumers discover, shop and buy in an age of digital disruption.
Taking place on 9-11 October, the event will see some of the world’s most successful retail companies tell their story and lead the conversation with a full programme of talks and presentations. 75% of speakers are C-level, including 70 CEOs.
The list of speakers includes Jerry Storch, CEO of Hudson’s Bay – the Canadian upmarket retailer which recently launched its first shop in Europe. His presence at ShopTalk Europe underscores the company’s increased focus in the region as it seeks to reap benefits from the business’ thriving European operations.
Other speakers include Mariangela Marseglia, Director of Amazon Prime Now; Stephanie Phair, Chief Strategy Officer at Farfetch; Harrods Managing Director Michael Ward; and Lyst Co-founder and CEO Chris Morton.
Tim Kendall, President of Pinterest; Sébastien Fabre, Co-founder and CEO of Vestiaire Collective; and Ulric Jerome, CEO of Matchesfashion.com will also hold presentations at the event.
