The www.sportyhenri.com website was launched at the end of April by former pro handball player Henri Taï. It is an online concept store specialised in a variety of sports, with the objective of unearthing the best in sporting performance and style.

The website has a special focus on eight sports - football, running, fitness and training, tennis, water sports, golf, triathlon and basketball - and features a selection of apparel from about thirty brands. Some of them are major classics - Adidas, Diadora, Lacoste and Salomon - others are more technical, such as Ashmei, whose apparel uses carbon fibre to expel moisture, or New Zealand brand Icebreaker, a pioneer in the field of merino wool garments.

Besides technical brands, the range also includes leisure brands such as Cavalier Bleu, Civissum and Ron Dorff, and a footwear selection – including Athletic Propulsion Labs, a Californian label whose models were banned by the NBA claiming they gave players an excessive performance advantage, as well as Puma, Asics and Reebok.

Another section of the site is dedicated to accessories, featuring Sandqvist and Herschel backpacks, Anderson’s belts and Adidas Y3, Craft and Lacoste hats.

SportyHenri.com adds a section on advice by sport experts to its fashion range: a series of video tips and tricks by, among others, Tony Parker and Javier Sotomayor, as well as a series of 'sporting looks' with friends of the founder.

SportyHenri was launched in France and also services customers in the UK, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland and Portugal.
