Stitch Fix names Sharon Chiarella chief product officer
San Francisco-based fashion subscription service Stitch Fix, Inc. announced on Tuesday the appointment of Sharon Chiarella as chief product officer.
Chiarella will officially join the company on March 29, 2021 and will report to Stitch Fix president Elizabeth Spaulding.
She joins Stitch Fix from Amazon, where she oversaw its customer reviews, deals, gifting, wish list, and other customer experience-driven innovations, as vice president of community shopping. She is also credited for spearheading some of the company's most innovative customer experience features, including customer videos and Q&A, as well as social shopping experiences like chat within Prime Video watch parties.
In her new role at Stitch Fix, Chiarella will lead the Product & Experience organization which includes the product, design and technical teams that are helping to drive the evolution of Stitch Fix's model of personalization and convenience.

Earlier this month, Stitch Fix reported Q2 net sales of $504.1 million, increasing 12 percent year over year from $451.8 million, though net revenue per active client fell 7 percent year over year to $467.
For the full fiscal year, the company is predicting revenue growth of between 18 and 20 percent.
