Stüssy is having a renaissance. The streetwear brand, founded in the early 1980s by Shawn Stüssy and his associate Franck Sinitra Jr. in Laguna Beach, California, is about to open its very first store in Paris.

The store will be located at number 44 Rue du Temple in Paris’ central third arrondissement. Stüssy fans will be able to discover the brand’s universe at the former location of Belgian brand Essentiel Antwerp’s store. The 180 metre-square store will house a sales area measuring 100 square metres. As for the store’s design, the brand is expected to offer a conceptual look as seen in its recent stores in Japan.

The opening of its Parisian “chapter” will mark the opening of Stüssy’s 28th store in the world. The brand is already present in Asia with 14 stores across China, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Singapore as well as in North America with six stores located across the U.S. and Canada. The brands European stores are spread across Milan, Madrid, London, and Amsterdam. Stüssy also has a presence in multi-brand Dover Street Market stores in Los Angeles, Ginza (Tokyo), and London.
