From Saturday 9 March, the Alpe d'Huez will vibrate with the sounds of Tomorrowland Festival. Organised in Belgium in the summer, the international festival is one of the biggest in the world for electro music. And, for its first-ever winter edition, the event will run from March 9 to 19 at the French ski resort, in partnership with The North Face.

The North Face will present a selection of its riders team at the Tomrrowland Festival Winter edition - Mathis Dumas

Located at a magnificent spot at the foot of the Pic Banc (3,300 metres above sea-level), the base camp of the U.S. outdoorwear brand will be at the heart of the festival. With its ski slope location, the brand will host a limited number of skiing sessions that feature key members of its pro athletic team.

This includes Marion Haerty and Léo Slemmet, both world champion freeriders; Evelina Nillson, a world champion big mountain freerider; and Markus Eder, the legendary "backcountry" freestyle skier (which is a mix of styles founded in the U.S.)

The North Face will also take the opportunity to present its technical apparel collections designed for taking on the steepest of slopes, as well as mountain safety workshops, meet-and-greets with its professional riders, and other snow sport-related events.

The festival expects to host some 25,000 festival goers, who have come to see electro groups and DJs including Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake, Lost Frequencies, NERVO and Steve Aoki.
