Tokyoeye brings 12 Japanese brands to Tranoï during the Paris Fashion Week

The Japan Fashion Week Organisation, with the aid of the Japanese small/medium enterprises and regional innovation organisation, will repeat its Tokyoeye event during Paris Fashion Week. This time, the twelve womenswear brands selected will feature at Tranoï in the Carrousel du Louvre, from 2nd to 5th October.

Tokyoeye has already been showcased in Paris, at Colette and Tranoï. A year ago, the area dedicated to it was Zip Zone.

Setting up Tokyoeye in Tranoï was even more logical this time, given that Armand Hadida, Tranoï's creative director and a retailer with the l’Eclaireur label, has supported the candidates himself, together with Cindy Ho, a fashion consultant who worked for Villamoda International and Yohji Yamamoto.

According to the organisers, Armand Hadida was very rigorous but constructive! "It's a valuable opportunity to gain an awareness of the difficulties involved with the international market," said the press release announcing the event.

Two remarks in particular were related to the adaptation of sizes and pricing. To this end, the brands involved have created and improved their Spring-Summer 2016 collections to be showcased in Paris. They are: A Degree Fahrenheit, Chika Kisada, Dressedundressed, In-Process, Middla, Motohiro Tanji, Motonari Ono, Roggykei, Kics Document, Koi, Somarta and Uemulo Munenoli.
