Unode50 has met its goal for the first semester. The Spanish jewelry company has just announced a 10 percent growth in sales for the period between January and June.

In the past few years, Unode50 has tripled its revenue, reaching almost 70 million euros a year and has put forth an ambitious growth plan. Around 60 percent of the brand’s revenue comes from outside of Spain.

The brand, which owes a good part of its growth to external markets, will open two new stores in France. The first, which opened in May, is located inside the Galeries Lafayette Montparnasse. The second will open in September in Paris’ BHV department store.

The French market, one of the most important for Unode50, counts 160 points of sale. Since March, the company has seen the arrival of its products in new multibrand stores throughout the country and the opening of a store in Paris.

With more than 100 stores throughout 40 countries, the brand can be found in standalone stores in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, New York, Roma, Tokyo, Milan, Berlin and Paris, in addition to more than 2,500 points of sale through multibrand stores.

The jewelry company was founded in Madrid at the end of the 1990s and currently has 630 employees. Its founder José Azulay still makes his collections using artisanal methods in Spain.

In the past few years the company has undertaken a renovation of its corporate image with the intention of improving the brand’s position in international markets.
