VF Corp is planning to expand its EMEA headquarters in Stabio, Switzerland, in partnership with property group Swiss Prime Site Solutions. The proposed expansion will support the double-digit growth it’s seen in the EMEA region over the past 18 months.

This is what the new HQ will look like

The US-based outdoor/activewear giant is set to submit plans for the project to the relevant authorities for the construction of a major new building adjacent to VF’s current company campus.

If passed, the build will be completed within the next two years, created in line “with VF's commitment to sustainability [featuring a] modern and sustainable design”.

VF said the project is part of a growth trajectory that began in the South of Ticino 10 years ago, “confirming the company's willingness to establish a solid presence in the region”.

Martino Scabbia Guerrini, Executive VP, President EMEA, APAC & Emerging Brands for VF, said: “Our development path in Stabio continues, supporting the important growth of the business.

“Double-digit growth in the EMEA region over the past year-and-a-half and considerable growth in the number of employees working in our headquarters make it necessary to further reorganise our spaces. We are ready to present a beautiful project that we hope to be able to realise in the next two years, and we are proud to have attracted high-level investors in Ticino.”

Today, the VF Campus consists of four buildings measuring 20,000 sq m where more than 1,100 employees of more than 50 nationalities work and includes design and product development laboratories, a fabric testing laboratory and showrooms dedicated to the group's 12 different brands.
