Estee Lauder vice-chairman Dan Brestle to retire

NEW YORK, March 13 (Reuters) - Estee Lauder Cos Inc's (EL.N) vice chairman and president, Dan Brestle, will retire later this year, a spokeswoman for the perfume and cosmetics company said on Friday March 13th.

Brestle's retirement will be effective on June 30, said Alexandra Trower, the executive vice president of global communications. An announcement will be made in the future about a replacement, she said.
Brestle, who joined Estee Lauder in 1978, now leads the company's North American business across different distribution channels. He also oversees the Estee Lauder, M.A.C, Prescriptives and Tom Ford brands and the BeautyBank unit. (Reporting by Aarthi Sivaraman; Editing by Steve Orlofsky)
