Louis Vuitton's LV & Me line reaches out on video and the web
In the wake of its 'Initiales' necklace line, the luxury goods brand developed a costume jewellery collection in early December introducing the 'LV & Me' line. It consists of 26 letters, decorated with screws and remindful of typical Louis Vuitton trunks. Each letter can be hooked onto a necklace, bracelet or earring, and is available for between €250 and €350.
To support the launch of LV & Me, the luxury goods label commissioned a video that showcases the jewellery pieces together with a 3D character, to the soundtrack of 'Alphabet', a 1970 song by French singer Amanda Lear, to the Al Dente agency.
At the same time, the agency developed an interactive app on www.louisvuitton.com which allows visitors to create their own customised video, while teasers and photos in the LV & Me colours will be posted on social media – Instagram and Facebook.
